Palliative Care

Individualized care for individual needs.

Knowing your unique needs are cared for by a trusted community of medical experts, Palliative Care allows individuals to get back to enjoying life while their serious illness is being managed.

How Does VyncaCare
Approach Palliative Care?

Our goal is to improve the quality of life for you and your family. We help to empower you to take control of your health. Palliative Care is one of our best tools to make that a reality by focusing on relieving the symptoms and stress of serious illness.

Our care is provided by a team of board-certified physicians, nurses, social workers, care managers, and chaplains and acts as an extension of your existing healthcare team. Focusing on symptom management, our team enables improvements to a patient's physical and mental health.

Whether in rural or non-rural communities, VyncaCare patients report less stress and burden for themselves and their caregivers due to the convenience of telehealth. The result is an improved quality of life and high satisfaction levels for oneself, caregivers, and family members.

Palliative Care Is Not Hospice Care

Unlike hospice care which provides compassionate care for those diagnosed with terminal conditions, Palliative Care is appropriate regardless of the diagnosis or disease stage and can be combined with curative treatments. While the objectives of hospice and supportive care are pain and symptom relief, the goals of care tend to differ.

While life-prolonging treatments are valuable, Palliative Care can help with any serious condition at any stage of illness, including terminal cancer, and is appropriate for those with many diseases or illnesses. Individuals of any age, including children, can receive supportive care.
